This statement is false. Flashbulb memories has not yet been proven to be more accurate and lasting than everyday memories. It has been debated for many years which one is more long-lasting and more accurate. Evidence show that flashbulb memory is just a snapshot of a memory and far from complete.

This is false. The reason is that many poeple believe that they remember flashbulb memories better because they are perhaps more ingrained due to increase emotional saliency. However, it has been shown that this doesn't necessarily correspond to reality.
